The Rainbow Bridge

“Mere Gurudev, charanon par sumana shraddha ke arpita hai
Tere hee dena hai jo hai. Wahi tujha ko samarapita hai

My Gurudev I offer these flowers of my faith at your feet
Whatever I have, you have given to me, and I dedicate it all to you
.

Na priti hai pratiti hai, na hi puja ki shakti hai
Meraa yaha man, meraa yaha tan, meraa kan kan samarapita hai

I have no love, nor do I know you.
I don’t even have the strength to worship you,
But this mind of mine, this body of mine,
my every atom is dedicated to you.

Tuma hee ho bhaava men mere, vicharon mein, pukaron mein.
Banaale yantra ab mujhko mere saravatra samarapita hai

You are the only one in my heart and my thoughts.
You are the one who I call out to.
Now Make me your instrument…all I am I offer to you.”

MOSES IN THE THICK CLOUD

What happened to Moses within the Thick cloud, as he ascended onto Mount Sinai for 40 days?
Within Jewish mystical scripture, "The Zohar", it is said: "Moses entered the Thickness of the Cloud, and there the rainbow dressed him."
( see previous post - The Cloud of Unknowing)

40 DAYS TO CLEAN YOUR RAINBOW BRIDGE

The rainbow symbol is loaded with meanings, in some cultures it it is considered as a sign of danger, in others it is a sign of peace.
In the context of 40, I would like to suggest another explanation for the process of initiation within this time frame.
We all know that the Chakra system is also symbolised as a rainbow bridge 🌈 relating to the gradation of intensity of energy - from gross to subtle.

We can also understand the process of 40 days as a process of purification and balancing of the 8 Chakras, as each day has a potential to work through the 5 tattwas within each chakras.
The Tattwas are the five elements - Earth Water Fire Air Ether.
The word Tattwa, if broken up into two syllables, can be explained as; tat meaning ‘that’ and twa meaning ‘ness’ - ‘thatness’ - ‘the essence which creates the feeling of existence’.
We know the relation of the Chakras to element/ colour / sense / organs etc.

BASIC CHAKRA TABLE

Chakra Rainbow

We can see the basic structure:

1 Muladhara - Earth

2 Swadistana - Water

3 Manipura - Fire

4 Anahata - Air

5 Vishuda - Ether

We can also zoom in and see a deeper fractal structure in which each chakra, as each chakra holds an inner structure from gross to subtle - just like in the bigger structure.

multicolor-rainbows-spiral-fractal-by-hdscreen.jpg

That means we can tap into the essence of each one of the 5 elements in the 8 chakras - 40 steps in total.
You are invited to work through this process, as you bring attention to each one of these steps, one an element in a Chakre every day:

Day 1 - Earth in First Chakra
Day 2 - Water in First Chakra
Day 3 - Fire in First Chakra
Day 4 - Air in First Chakra
Day 5 - Ether in first Chakra

and the same process will continue through each chakra.
Moving from Earth in the 1st Chakra, all the way to Ether in the 8th.
From the most gross to the most subtle.

Explore for yourself, how does it manifest in your life at the moment.
Take the time to explore the quality of each element, and its manifestations in the issues related to the chakra.
Earth in the first chakra will relate to first chakra issues: SECURITY & SURVIVAL
Home / Family / Basic Needs / Self- care / Nourishment / Prosperity / Appropriate Boundaries
and to the essence of the Earth Element

יום ראשון לספירת העומר

In the Jewish tradition today is the begging of Sfirat Haomer. Counting 49 days - from the day of the Exodus of the Hebrew people who were liberated from hundreds of years of slavery in Egypt ( Which has been celebrated last night on the evening of the Passover holiday) until the day they have received the Torah on Mt. Sinai ( Which is celebrated as Shavout holiday 49 days from today)

There is a tradition to consciously count these days, and go through a process of refinement and inner exploration of these inner qualities. Going through the 7 lower Sfirot of the Tree of Life.
Just like we are invited to into the fractal structure of the Chakras, we are going into a similar journey of all the seven Sfirot, as manifested in each one of them.

The period of the counting of the Omer is considered to be a time of potential for inner growth – for a person to work on one's good characteristics (middot) through reflection and development of one aspect each day for the 49 days of the counting.

In Kabbalah, each of the seven weeks of the Omer-counting is associated with one of the seven lower sefirot:

  1. Chesed (loving-kindness),

  2. Gevurah (might),

  3. Tipheret (beauty),

  4. Netzach (victory),

  5. Hod (acknowledgment),

  6. Yesod (foundation),

  7. Malchut (kingdom).

Each day of each week is also associated with one of these same seven sefirot, creating forty-nine permutations. The first day of the Omer is therefore associated with "chesed that is in chesed" (loving-kindness within loving-kindness), the second day with "gevurah that is in chesed" (might within loving-kindness); the first day of the second week is associated with "chesed that is in gevurah" (loving-kindness within might), the second day of the second week with "gevurah that is in gevurah" (might within might), and so on.

Symbolically, each of these 49 permutations represents an aspect of each person's character that can be improved or further developed.

I know that this might seem like a lot to be engaged with…
Well, it can be a deep study, or it could be at a very basic level of bringing awareness, and setting an intention, and just by doing that, allowing the experience to deepen.
Let ‘Guru Dev’ - the divine teacher, guide you…

Love and Blessings,
